1. Keep Lashes Clean
- Clean your lashes daily with a gentle lash shampoo to remove any oil, makeup, or debris that can build up on the lashes.
- You can purchase a specialized lash shampoo directly from our studio for easy and safe cleaning.
2. Avoid Oil-Based Products
- Oil can weaken the adhesive bond of lash extensions, so avoid oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and moisturizers around the eye area.
3. Brush Gently
- Use a clean lash brush (we can provide one at the studio) each morning to keep the lashes separated and neat.
- Brush gently from the middle to the tips, avoiding the base where they’re attached.
4. Avoid Touching or Rubbing
- Resist the urge to touch or rub your eyes, as this can cause lashes to fall out prematurely or weaken the adhesive.
- Avoid Water for the First 24-48 Hours
- Avoid getting lashes wet immediately after your appointment. After this period, you can wash them with lash shampoo but avoid submerging them in water for long periods.
- No Mascara on Lash Extensions
- Mascara is not recommended as it can clump and damage extensions, especially waterproof varieties, which are difficult to remove.
- Skip the Eyelash Curlers
- Lash curlers can damage extensions and are unnecessary since lash extensions are pre-curled.
- Schedule Regular Fills
- Keep up with fills every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness and shape.
